Hi all, I hope you are having a great day wherever you are in the world! I thought I’d have a little chat about moving house/moving out for the first time. Wow, two blogs in a row!? Who would have thought!
The biggest tip I could give you about moving is to make sure you are organised! The worst thing is to be not ready and when the day comes to do the move, you’re still lying on the couch half-dressed, catching up on some Netflix and snacking on some chips and chocolate. Time always sneaks up on us like that!
At the end of this month (February) I am moving house for the second time in my life. The first time I moved out it was only six months ago. We have realised that living with a roommate hasn’t worked out great for us. Continuously paying rent doesn’t help either, especially when you want to save to buy a house in the near future. You just have to really figure out what is right for you.
The first move was fairly easy as we didn’t own any furniture yet. We had it delivered to the new house which was super convenient. The location and house is great but we just want to feel more comfortable and secure. The most important thing is that in the house we are moving into, we are allowed to have a DOG! I will be blogging about that as soon as that happens, don’t you worry! Though I am excited for the move, I am also feeling a bit anxious about how we’ll go transporting all of our fairly new furniture, though I am hoping all will be ok!
I will definitely be blogging about our second move once we’re nice and settled. We have no idea what date our new house will be ready for us to move into, we will hopefully find out soon so we can get organised, this time wait is killing me!
If you haven’t realised already, I am lucky enough to have a super amazing boyfriend of two years to share all this with, I really am very lucky. You will certainly find out more about me and my life as time goes on. I have SO much content that I’ve planned to post and I am SO excited to share all this with you! Thank you for joining me on this journey, talk soon!
