Welcome to yet another book of the week, out every Monday (Australia time!)
I hope you’ve had a happy, fun-filled week, and thanks again for joining me!
I found this book at a shop I visited a while ago, had a read of the blurb and it sounded really good for me, as I am working on being more positive and more happy (I will get more into this in a future blog where I can find the words and the courage to post). So I gave this a purchase and had a read of it. I LOVED it and this is a must read for all! This weeks book is:
3 / HOW TO BE HAPPY/SOMETHING LIKE HAPPY by Eva Woods
This book teaches you to do little things each day in your life to bring you joy. Even if it’s buying a coffee, decorating your desk at work or doing an unexpected good deed for someone, such as buying donuts for the whole office, or just one person.
It is about a a girl called Annie Hebden. She is going through her day-to-day life being stuck in a boring job and living with an annoying roommate.
One day she comes across Polly, and who knew that this girl could change Annie’s life forever! Polly is bright, bubbly and positive and is pretty much everything Annie doesn’t want in a friend. Polly has decided to wake Annie up to live, as Polly has just received some news, and that time is too short to waste.
One hundred days, and one hundred new ways to be happy! Annie is one of those people that thinks this is impossible, but soon learns that other people have life much worse. New experiences and a new perspective, Annie will be taken through a life changing journey.
I feel like this book hasn’t received the advertising it deserves, so this is it right here. You will finish the book feeling much more positive, and gaining new, small ideas to help you be that bit more happy. It has hilarious moments in it, but also sad. It is an absolutely excellent book that will have you feeling all the feels.
My rating for this one is an outstanding 10/10!
What are you waiting for? Go and read this for yourself!
Thank you for spending a couple of minutes out of your day to read this, I hope you all have a fab week!
