I thought I’d do a post on what make-up products I’m using at the moment! Right now I’m in the middle of moving house, so I’m sort of living out of boxes and bags which is quite annoying, so I thought the best thing to do would be to grab a few essential make-up items, and this is what I am going to show you today!
The photo above is what I usually work with – all my make-up stored in my Alex draws from Ikea. Primers, foundations, concealers, powders, eyeliner, brow products and mascara at the top, pallets in the 2nd draw and lips, nail, and spare products below.
Revlon Photo Ready Primer
I’m pretty much just using it to use it up. I spent a bit of money on it and to be honest it wasn’t worth it. To me, it’s pretty crap. It seems to always have clumpy bits in it, but I don’t know if it’s just me?? The best primer I have used was a Loreal one. I am yet to find one that I love.
Fenty Beauty Foundation
This foundation I use daily. It is a current favourite. Great shade and coverage. I’d say it’s a medium coverage, but it is build-able. It is a great everyday foundation. So many YouTubers have recommended this, so I thought I would try it too and I am not disappointed.
MAC Studio Fix Foundation
I randomly bought this one day when I felt like spending money haha. I was glad I did, I love this foundation, but I wish it was a pump one, or had something to help you get it out. I usually pour it on the back of my hand and usually end up putting too much on. Most of the time I save this foundation for special occasions (going out for dinner, having a night out, partying etc.)
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer
I have almost finished this, I really wish it wasn’t A$40, because I need another! I always use this for under my eyes, it makes you look more awake for work, it is a lifesaver. I highly recommend this concealer!
Nude by Nature Concealer
This concealer is just alright. At the moment I’m just trying to use it up. I don’t think it is exactly my skin colour (I am very pale), but I manage to get it to work. I wouldn’t recommend it, but everyone is different and everyone’s skin is different, it just don’t work great for me.
Maybelline Master Conceal
Again, another one I am just trying to use up. A while ago I accidentally bought another one! Argh! This one really isn’t my shade, but again, I can get it to work. I don’t feel like it really covers anything, it just sort of disappears, which is what you really don’t want with a concealer. Again, everyone is different, it just don’t work for me.
The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops
This is what comes in when a shade isn’t right for your skin colour! If you’re pale like me, this works wonders. You just put a drop or two in to lighten a foundation or concealer. You can also get darker ones too, if you get a foundation that is too light. I would highly recommend having this in your make-up collection!
Physicians Formula Powder
This is literally the lightest colour power I have ever managed to find and it is amazing. I love it. I am on my 3rd product I believe. I would highly recommend this for pale skin people. It doesn’t make your face look orange and cakey which is definitely a bonus. It is worth about A$32.
The Body Shop Honey Bronzer
This was originally brought to my attention by Jade Billington. I gives you a subtle glow, which is brilliant if you have light skin like me. I use this everyday when I go to work, as it gives more colour to my face. I got this for A$25 from The Body Shop.
Rimmel Stay Matte Translucent Powder
Sooo many bloggers and YouTubers use this, and I joined the group quite a bit ago. It is great to set liquid make-up, and even better, it is translucent! This powder is also very affordable and is available at most chemists/drug stores.
MAC Mineralise Skinfinish
This was another purchase I randomly made on Mecca Maxima (I was buying a present for someone else, I thought I should get something for myself too!) I think this product is great for adding shimmer to your face or using as a highlighter. I purchased this for A$50.
Make-up Revolution Ultra Blush Pallet – Sugar & Spice
The sort of dirty picture of my pallet below shows it is very well used. I am obsessed with all sorts of different pallets, they are my favourite make-up product to purchase as I think you get more for your money. These blushers, and highlights are amazing. They are so pigmented, you only need a small amount on your brush. I got this for A$30 and it is well worth the money. You can also get different colour combinations, I would be keen to try more!
TooFaced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Pallet
This is one of my favourite eye shadow pallets ever, I use it almost every single day. It has so many neutral colours that are fab for day-to-day wear. There is also some shimmer shades which are great to spice things up a little. A very expensive pallet, but I love it so much, this is a very popular pallet!
I don’t use eyeliner very often as I can’t do it very quick and I usually stuff it up, let me know of your favourite eye liner products below!
Rimmel Day to Night Mascara
This one I use practically everyday, it is a lengthening, subtle mascara look. You can make it more dramatic by using the volume wand of it. I have been using this one for a couple of years, and will probably continue to do so.
Covergirl Brown Mascara
If you’re not feeling black mascara – this is a great alternative. A much more natural, subtle eye look. I use this on days I’m not really feeling normal mascara. This is also very affordable if you’re after brown instead of black.
Maybelline Lash Sensational
If you’re looking for a waterproof mascara – this is the one! I’ve only used this once so far, and when I did, I struggled so much to get it off, I had to use heaps of eye make-up remover! Such a good mascara if you’re going to an event which you may shed some tears.
I hope you really enjoyed this post. I put a lot of effort into this one so I am very happy with it. I have been wanting to this post for a while, and here it finally is!

Thanks for all the love everyone!
