Book of the Week / 12

Hi everyone, and welcome back to another Book of the Week post. Today we’re going to talk about a book that I really, really enjoyed. It was a bit of a longer book that I would usually read, but I think I read it just as fast as a shorter book because I enjoyed it so much! Included in this book were so many twists and turns, and plenty of drama to go with it. Each chapter kept you wanting to read more and more. This weeks book is:

To be completely honest with you, I don’t think I have ever properly read a book that has been written by a man, or that has a man as the main character. This has been completely unintentional, and I only realised this at the end of the book.

This whole story and series of events began with something very simple. Joe Lynch, the main character, husband of Melissa and Father of William, came across his wife driving into a hotel car park, while she was supposed to be at work. He followed her in. He never would have guessed his life would change forever.

A lot of people thought Joe was very naive, I didn’t notice this myself but as I have read this afterwards, I believe he definitely was. I thought he was also definitely TOO trusting. I was shocked at the amount of drama and twists in this book, but I loved every part of it. It was written extremely well.

I really, really enjoyed this book, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is into psychological thrillers, mysteries & fiction books. This book will make you question whether we can ever really trust the ones we love…

I rate this book a big fat 9/10!

If you have read this book, or something similar, let me know in the comments below!
