My Dreams & Nightmares / 15

Welcome to my 15th post of my dreams! I hope you enjoy these weird and wonderful ones.

I was at a huge cinema. It was specifically a place for people that suffer from different mental health issues. Each different cinema room helped with different problems. I think there was also accommodation upstairs.

Cinema: “To dream that you are watching a movie suggests that you are watching life pass you by. perhaps you are living vicariously through the actions of others. Consider also how the movie parallels to situations in your waking life.”

Mental Institution: “To dream that you are in a mental institution indicated a need for rest and a need to reset your mind. Don’t be afraid to ask for help/assistance when you need it.”

I was with my fiancé, and we were at an abandoned house which was right along water with a large group of people. We were equipped with lots of weapons, like a game of Call of Duty. We were ‘play fighting’ with others but we would most likely be killed. (I was playing a lot of Call of Duty around this time)

Abandoned house: “To see an abandoned house in your dream implies that you have left behind your past. You are ready to move forward towards the future.”

Group: “To see a group in your dream refers to the merging of various aspects of your character and personality.”

Weapons: “To see a gun in your dream represents aggression, anger, and potential danger. You could be on the defensive about something. Or you may be dealing with issues of passiveness/aggressiveness and authority/dependence. Alternatively, a gun is a symbol of power and pride. Perhaps you are looking for shelter or protection in your dream.”

Call of Duty/video game: “To dream that your real life has turned into a video game implies that you are lacking any ambition and drive. You don’t have any direction in life and what you want to do. Alternatively, the dream may mean that you need to always be on the alert.”

I was with some people in my old street where I used to live. I decided to go back home. I got home and they were setting our neighbours house on fire and just left it to burn, they never checked if there was anyone inside or not.

Fire: “To dream that a house is on fire indicates that you need to undergo some transformation.”

Arson: “To dream about an arson represents the rage within that has potential to be destructive. It is best to express your anger instead of keeping it bottled up inside.”

Burn: “To see something burning in your dream indicated that you are experiencing some intense emotions and/or passionate sexual feelings. There is some situation or issue that you can no longer avoid and ignore. Alternatively, it may suggest that you need to take time off for yourself and relax. Perhaps you are feeling ‘burned out’ or ‘burned up’.”

I was at a warehouse looking place with another girl (I don’t know who she was) and the whole place was full of graves. We were writing things on each of them like ‘RIP’. It was a super creepy place, there would have been ghosts everywhere.

Warehouse: “To see a warehouse in your dream represents stored energy or hidden resources. The warehouse also refers to memories. Alternatively, the warehouse means that you are putting your ambitions and goals on hold.”

Graves: “To dream that you are at a grave indicates that you need to delve into your own subconscious in search of an issue that you thought had been put to rest. You need to stand up for yourself for no one else can do it for you. Alternatively, it represents something is about to be completed in your life. You are leaving behind the old and making a new start. The dream may also be a pun on feeling grave or concerns about a serious or sad situation.”

Headstone: “To see a headstone in your dream represents a forgotten or buried aspect of yourself which you need to acknowledge. Consider also the message on the headstone. It may indicate a statement about your life and its condition.”

My fiancé and I were in a haunted book store. Books kept moving out of shelves on their own and they were also knocking over on their own.

Haunted: “To dream that you are being haunted indicates early unpleasant traumas and repressed feelings or memories. You are experiencing some fear or guilt about your past activities and thoughts.”

Books: “To see books in your dream indicate calmness. You are moving toward your goals at a slow and steady pace. Books also symbolise knowledge, intellect, information and wisdom.”

Book store: “To dream that you are at a book store symbolises your quest for knowledge and ideas. You want to develop your mental sharpness.”

Bookshelf: “To see a bookshelf in your dream represents the various levels of your mind where ideas, concepts, and memories are kept. It also suggests your need to acquire some information or knowledge in a situation before making your decision.”

Thanks for reading, I hope to see you around again soon!!

  1. What a cool series. I love dream interpretation. Mine tend to be fairly obvious are they are usually based around what I was reading or watching before bed xD I like that it suggests books indicate calmness

      1. The weirdest dream I ever had was that I was in the shower and a horse put his head round the curtain. I drew the curtain back and my shower was in a barn. I think that just means I’m a bit crazy… 😋
