Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone! From wherever you are in the world, I hope you’re having a lovely day/afternoon/night! This post is a bit different, something I have never done before. I will be featuring some lovely bloggers that would really appreciate your support. These are all hardworking, talented people that absolutely adore blogging. Be sure to check them all out. If you could view/like/comment/follow, that would mean the world to them! Your support means everything. If you could also like/comment on my own post too that would be fab!
1. OneMoreLightLB or ‘L’
“I am “L” or OneMoreLightLB and I am fairly new to blogging! I live in Scottland, love traveling, and as the name suggests, I’m a huge Linkin Park fan. I write mainly about mental health and travel, with the odd sprinkling of lifestyle related posts thrown in.
I choose to write mainly about mental health as I have struggled with my own in some way or another for as long as I can remember. Some of my experiences are subjects not often talked about and I hope to shine a light on them and to raise awareness. Overall, I want to contribute to the ongoing discussion about mental health to reduce stigma around mental illness or general ill health and hopefully make people feel less alone in the process. I also find that it’s a great outlet for myself and for coming to terms with my own mental health. My favourite thing about blogging is the people; I have met so many wonderful, beautiful people who are incredibly talented and supportive, and I’m so thankful for all of them.”
2. Beth Halligan
“Hey! My name is Beth Halligan, I’m 20 years old and live in a town called Huddersfield in England! I like to blog about:
Things I get up to
Series such as Q&A’s
I love writing and I’ve always used writing as my outlet. When my Grandma passed away, I dealt with it by writing poems about how I felt and my favourite subject at school was English! I wanted to start a blog for a while but I didn’t think anyone would read it and one night I just thought, you know what? I’m just going to make one. So I did! I love it because the blogging community is so supportive and I just love that people are interested in what I write! I went to the doctors the other day and the receptionist told me she read my blog! That’s so crazy! It’s also amazing to think that one day, I could make money from my blog!”
3. Life of Emma
“Hello, I’m Emma. A lifestyle blogger from the New Forest, Hampshire. I love photography and creating engaging blog posts for my readers. I can be found out for country walks and eating yummy foods.
My blog is all about my life and the things that interest me. For example, you’ll find foodie reviews, autumn tips and travel photography within my blog. I am too into different lifestyle genres to pick a specific niche (well.. at the moment anyway).
I started blogging mainly because I love writing and creating engaging literature. Also my passion for photography. I felt combining two of my favourite hobbies and blogging would be a great way to share my works with other people. I also wanted to take up a little space in the big wide web, which I can call my own. I love blogging, being able to engage with fellow people with the same interests, being able to meet people at blogger events and create friendships along the way. Also having the ability to help other people reach their goals.”
4. Love Life Lavish
“Hello, my name is Kelly Cranfield. My blog is called Love Life Lavish. I will give you some information about what’s on the high-street (with the occasional high-end treat), fashion, beauty, travel, wellbeing, restaurants and everything in between.
You’ll find posts on my latest finds and discoveries. As well as the occasional longer think pieces. About everything that goes down in the world, of a nearly 40 year old woman.
As I love helping people to feel good about themselves, I’ve always promoted my friend’s businesses. One of my friends suggested that I should do a blog. I promise that I am not doing this for financial gain. I have always wanted to do something like this for years. But never had the courage as I was always worried my friends and family would say or laugh at me. Feeling like I have hit a crossroads in my life with a hole that I needed to fill. I just want to be honest and try to give you the best advice. With Love Life Lavish, I hope to inspire and encourage you to go out and get what you want.”
5. Molly Rose
“Hey! My name is Molly Rose and I’m a blogger from Australia! I kind of blog about anything and everything that’s floating around my mind (hence the name), but I have a particular focus on beauty, movies and lifestyle. I started blogging for a number of different reasons, too many to discuss here, but mainly as a bit of an outlet. Basically my first year of uni didn’t really work out for me so I deffered and this kind of threw me off a bit. I wasn’t doing anything really that productive with my time so I thought I may as well start writing a blog, as I have always loves to write! The second reason is that I have so many passions and interests, none of which can be confined into one single ‘career/profession’ so I thought a blog would be the perfect place to share them all!”
6. Herding Cats
“I’m Kerry and I’m based in the UK. I’m 41, married with 2 children (one birth and one adopted) and I am a teacher although I am currently on adoption leave. I enjoy reding, writing and TV box sets. I have also recently joined a theatre group.
I blog about anything that comes into my mind as well as book reviews. I didn’t want to be stuck in one niche so I left it open. I mainly blog about books, parenting and education, although other things come up too.
I started blogging over 2 years ago but only managed one post and I never had the confidence to continue or promote it. Being on leave left me with spare time so I tried again and it’s steadily gaining recognition and readers. I love engaging with the blogging community and I enjoy when readers leave me a comment. I always comment back.”
7. Stacked Reviews
“My name is Mina, I’m 26 and come from Belgrade, Serbia. My blog is called Stacked, and I write book reviews and everything else book-related. I started blogging because of my love for books. Blogging gave me an opportunity to share my opinions with people, to meet other people with the same interests, and helped me to discover new titles to add to my reading list. I didn’t know this when I started, but the blogging community is huge, and I enjoy being a part of it.”
8. The Blog That Talks To Your Soul
“My name is Sivuyile Tshalana from Durban, South Africa. I am a newbie when it comes to blogging, and writing but I’m very passionate about my new craft. I believe that everything that is written down will last for a long time rather than spoken words. This means generations after generations will be able to read about the things we’re blogging about now in years to come.
I blog about life, my challenges and what I observe in this life. I chose to blog about such broad topics, because I love to see good change in my life as well as exceptional change within the world. Throughout my writings I offer solutions to issues I write about. I even state what I learned within the issue I overcame in life. I spread positivity through motivation within my writings even though I might tackle touchy and no-go topics in this world.
The biggest issue that I am currently facing even though I worked on it before and I thought it was sorted. My challenge has been getting followers on my blog and also getting people to read my work. I try by all means to overcome this challenge by self promoting the blog on my social media accounts. Even though I do a lot of word of mouth advertising when I’m with other people. Most definitely I need major help with getting my work out there for people to effortlessly notice, read, comment, share and follow it each day.
I take my blog very seriously as it is definitely my passion that feeds my soul and I post weekly on it. I truly love blogging and writing as I have a lot to share with the world. I’m always open to good matured conversations that will build me to be a better person. The future plans for my blog is to reach millions of people across the world and get over 500 followers for now.
The experiences I am looking towards to is to forever build by blog to a worldwide brand and continue changing peoples lives. I would also love to work with other bloggers and collaborate on different topics.”
