Dream Interpretations – 29

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone, from where ever you are, and welcome to yet another dream interpretation post! We’re almost to 30, wow! Here are the dreams I have for today…

  • I was in my car alone, stopped at a set of traffic lights, when a motorbike stopped next to me, got off their bike and came over and opened my door (I didn’t have it locked), then I abruptly woke up.

Car: “To dream that you are driving a car denotes your ambition, your drive and your ability to navigate from one stage of your life to another. Consider how smooth or rough the car ride is. If you are driving the car, then you are taking an active role in the way your life is going.”

Alone: “To dream that you are alone indicates feelings of rejection. You may be feeling that no one understands you.

Traffic Lights: “To see a traffic light in your dream suggests that you feel you are being held back from pursuing your goals. Your forward progress is being controlled by someone or by some outside forces. In other words, you are not in control of your own life. Alternatively, the dream represents the pressure to succeed or else be left behind.”

Intersection: “To dream that you are at an intersection represents a decision or choice that you need to make in order to progress forward.”

Motorbike: “To see or ride a motorcycle in your dream symbolises your desire for freedom and need for adventure. You may be trying to escape from some situation or some other responsibility in your waking life.”

  • I was at a small hairdressers on the corner of two streets within a strip of shops near where I grew up. I was there for ages and I was starving and hadn’t had dinner but there was no food places nearby.

Hairdressers: “To dream that you are at the hairdressers implies that you are looking to change your attitude. You are ready for change and move in a different direction.”

Corner: “To dream you are in a corner signifies feelings of frustration and lack of control in making decisions. You may feel trapped and ‘cornered’. Alternatively, it indicates self-punishment.”

Hungry: “To dream that you are hungry signifies a feeling of unfulfilment in some area of your life. You may be starving for love, recognition, power, sex, wealth or fame. You are longing to achieve something that you have desired for a while. Alternatively, the dream may simply be that you are feeling really hungry and it is being manifested in your dream.”

  • I was walking down the ‘aisle’ in a wedding dress. I was actually just walking along a footpath with friends and family lined up along each side. I felt like I was walking too fast. I never made it to the end.

Walking: “To dream that you are walking with ease signifies a slow, but steady progress toward your goals. You are moving through life in a confident manner. Consider your destination.”

Aisle: “To dream that you are walking down or through an aisle represents your ability to move forward in life with confidence. There is balance in your life. Alternatively, the dream indicates dissension and disagreements. You are stuck in the middle between two diverging viewpoints.”

Wedding: “If you are getting married and have dreams of your pending wedding, then it highlights the stress of organising a wedding.  Conflicts over wedding details, tension with family and in-laws, fear of commitment, and loss of independence may all cause wedding anxiety dreams.  Research has shown that up to 40% of brides and grooms have dreams about their ceremony and things going perfectly.”

Wedding dress: “To wear a wedding dress in your dream indicates that you are evaluating and assessing your personal relationship.”

Footpath: “To walk through an open path in your dream signifies clarity of thought and peace of mind. It also symbolises your progress.”

  • I was at a food place with my Fiance getting lunch/dinner – I’m not too sure which one. I went up to the counter and ordered us salmon. I had to go up and collect the plates from the counter, I started eating mine before paying. I then suddenly woke up to my alarm going off.

Salmon: “To see salmon in your dream represents determination, strength and wisdom. You are able to overcome adversity and achieve success. Alternatively, salmon suggests that you are comfortable with expressing and dealing with your emotions. You are well balanced.”

Alarm: “To hear an alarm clock in your dream represents your anxieties and fixation with time. You fear that you do not have enough time to meet your deadlines or accomplish your goals.”
