It is really weird times that we’re in right now, with my job I am currently working from home. I am so thankful that this is an option for me with what’s happening all around the world. Josh is an essential worker – so we aren’t losing any funds which I am so thankful for. A lot of people have lost their jobs which is just so awful. I can’t imagine how they are feeling right now.
I said on Twitter a bit ago that I would post my ‘working from home’ routine to maybe help some of you out there, that are feeling a bit lost. I am someone that strives off routine. It can help us feel calm and in control. This is great in a time of uncertainty.
7:30am – wake up, get dressed and hydrate
7:45am – workout
8:05am – stretch
8:10am – shower and get ready
8:30am – breakfast and start work
10:30-11am – coffee time!!
12:30-1pm – lunch time!
2pm – take the dogs for a walk
2:45pm – get back into work
3pm – afternoon snack if needed
4:45pm – finish off work and start prepping for dinner
5:30pm – dinner
6:30pm – Animal Crossing time!
This is my fairly basic routine. You can change it up how you would like it and what works best for you! This is just what works great for me.
It is a really good idea to spend some time outside – going for a walk, sitting out in the backyard etc. to help break-up the day and help clear your mind a little.
Instead of my comute to work, I have been doing a morning workout instead, since I don’t have to drive anywhere haha. I still make an effort to get up early.
That is my working from home routine! I hope this helps one of you in any way, as it is good to still have structure in your life during this time. It really helps with anxiety especially.
I hope you are keeping well during this time and following the Governments rules and doing social distancing. The quicker all of us do this, the quicker it will be over.

Enjoyed reading what you get up to throughout the day! ✨ I need to create a routine as my days are all very up and down although I do have to do lists that kinda create some structure or else I’d be lost 😂 Great post! 💕

it really sucks that the majority are struggling financially. I find it a blessing that that’s not my issue as well. I just hope this all blows over soon. Great routine post. I also got to get more organized!

It really does, we are super lucky! Same here, though the government have just extended everything for at least another month 😕 though Australia are doing really good with the numbers. Thank you ❤️
