Yes! You read that title right. Chocolate is pretty much one of the best things on the universe, agreed? Well, I think so anyway. I have some sort of chocolate in my house at all times, I have a massive sweet tooth. I wish I didn’t, but that’s just how I was made, to enjoy the sweet things in life.
I got this recipe a while ago off my naturopath, when I was seeing one. If you don’t know what a naturopath is, it is someone that specialises in the works of natural medicine. Personally for me, it was an absolute waste of money & time. I am still angry to this day about it haha. Though other people swear by naturopaths, so each to their own.
I was having a chat with her about my love of chocolate and how I didn’t want to give up eating it at the time. She thankfully gave me a recipe for HEALTHY, VEGAN, GLUTEN FREE CHOCOLATE! I was so excited I just had to share the recipe for you all! It is super easy as well, which makes it SO much better!! Here is the recipe –
- Coconut paste / Coconut oil / Coconut milk (can use any that you prefer)
- Cocoa powder
- 1tsp Cinnamon
- 1tsp Vanilla Extract or Paste
- 2tsp Organic Rice Malt
- Pinch of salt
Add various amounts of these until you have your preferred consistency. Leave in the fridge to set (make it runnier if you would like it to be more of a Nutella consistency) and DONE! Though if you don’t want to wait for it to set, you can of course, eat it straight away. You can also add anything you want to it, like nuts, dried fruit etc.
