Hey guys! And welcome to another book review. I actually can’t believe I haven’t already read this one, as I’ve heard it is a great thriller to begin with. Todays book is..
The Other Woman by Sandie Jones
“Emily thinks Adam’s perfect; the man she thought she’d never meet. But lurking in the shadows is a rival; a woman who shares a deep bond with the man she loves.
Emily chose Adam, but she didn’t choose his mother Pammie. There’s nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her son, and now Emily is about to find out just how far Pammie will go to get what she wants: Emily gone forever.
The Other Woman is an addictive, fast-paced psychological thriller about the destructive relationship between Emily, her boyfriend Adam, and his manipulative mother Pammie.”
What an absolutely fantastic read!! Honestly shocked that I haven’t read this one before! Defintely a great thriller to start with if you’ve never read a thriller before!
I didn’t like Adam whatsoever, he honestly seemed like a horrible person deep within, and I am not sure why Emily stayed with him. Something just wasn’t right about him, thoughout the book.
And Pammie, the Mother-in-Law, my god, she was awful throughout the book! She did anything she could to sabotage Emily & Adam’s relationship, but she had a reason. That reason you’ll find out in the book.
I loved this one as what happened was completely unexpected. I love an unpredictable book. There was also SO much that went on in this book. So much drama. I was excited to read this each night, and finished it within about a week.
Literally the only negative I have about this one is that it ended quite abruptly, and I feel like it ended while it was in the middle of an action-packed part. If you’ve read my book reviews before, you know that I’m usually always disappointed by the endings haha.
Other than this, it is a fantastic read and I would HIGHLY recommend! Wow, I’ve read two stand-out books in a row, I’m not sure if that’s happened before, but I like it!
The genres of this one is thriller, fiction, mystery & suspense.

I rate this one a 9.5/10! It would have been a 10 if it wasn’t for the abrupt ending.
Thanks for reading!
