Welcome back to another book wish list! I purchase all my physical books from Booktopia, and I have recently set up a wish list with all the books I would like to eventually get. It is great because it will notify you if books are on sale etc. which is also dangerous at the same time haha. I have found it really helpful! Let’s get into some of the books I want to get 😊
The Love Square by Laura Jane Williams

I hadn’t seen or heard of this one before until I saw a few Instagramers/Influencers reading it – I haven’t read a romance in a while so I think this one would be nice and refreshing between all the thrillers.
She’s single. But it can still be complicated…
Penny Bridge has always been unlucky in love.
So she can’t believe it when she meets a remarkable new man.
Followed by another.
And then another…
And all of them want to date her.
Penny has to choose between three. But are any of them The One?
Spare Room by Dreda Say Mitchell

If you’ve been around for a while you’ll know how much I love thrillers. This one sounds pretty interesting.
Beautiful double room to let to single person
Lisa, a troubled young woman with a past, can’t believe her luck when she finds a beautiful room to rent in a large house. The live-in owners are a kind and welcoming couple. Everything is fine until she finds a suicide note hidden in her room. But when the couple insist this man didn’t exist and that Lisa is their first tenant, Lisa begins to doubt herself.
Compelled to uncover the secrets of the man who lived in the room before her, Lisa is alarmed when increasingly disturbing incidents start to happen. Someone doesn’t want Lisa to find out the truth.
As the four walls of this house and its secrets begin to close in on Lisa, she descends into a hellish hall of mirrors where she’s not sure what’s real and what’s not as she claws her way towards the truth…
This room has already claimed one victim?
Is it about to take another?
In The Dark by Cara Hunter

This one sounds like it has a lot to it, but sounds like a great mystery. I’m looking forward to eventually purchasing and reading!
Do you know what they’re hiding in the house next door?
A woman and child are found locked in a basement, barely alive, and unidentifiable: the woman can’t speak, there are no missing persons reports that match their profile, and the confused, elderly man who owns the house claims he has never seen them before. The inhabitants of the quiet street are in shock—how could this happen right under their noses? But Detective Inspector Adam Fawley knows nothing is impossible. And no one is as innocent as they seem.
As the police grow desperate for a lead, Fawley stumbles across a breakthrough, a link to a case he worked years before about another young woman and child gone missing, never solved. When he realizes the missing woman’s house is directly adjacent to the house in this case, he thinks he might have found the connection that could bring justice for both women. But there’s something not quite right about the little boy from the basement, and the truth will send shockwaves through the force that Fawley never could have anticipated.
A deeply unsettling, heart-stopping mystery of long-buried secrets and the monsters who hide in plain sight, In the Dark is the second gripping novel featuring DI Adam Fawley.
The Chain by Adrian McKinty

This one sounds absolutely insane, and sounds like it’s nothing like what I’ve read before.
You just dropped off your child at the bus stop. A panicked stranger calls your phone. Your child has been kidnapped, and the stranger explains that their child has also been kidnapped, by a completely different stranger. The only way to get your child back is to kidnap another child within 24 hours. Your child will be released only when the next victim’s parents kidnap yet another child, and most importantly, the stranger explains, if you don’t kidnap a child, or if the next parents don’t kidnap a child, your child will be murdered. You are now part of The Chain.
I See You by Clare Macintosh

The blurb of this one doesn’t give away too much, which makes me very curious to read!
When Zoe Walker sees her photo in the classifieds section of a London newspaper, she is determined to find out why it’s there. There’s no explanation: just a grainy image, a website address and a phone number. She takes it home to her family, who are convinced it’s just someone who looks like Zoe. But the next day the advert shows a photo of a different woman, and another the day after that.
Is it a mistake? A coincidence? Or is someone keeping track of every move they make…
Those are all I have for you today! Have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments! 😃
Thanks for reading!

It sounds really intense! Even my Fiancé liked the sound of it and he’s not into the same books as me (he likes fantasy). Oooh yes that would be a good movie!
