Book Review – The Others Mrs

I am absolutely smashing out book reviews lately haha! Here is another one for you πŸ˜€ I took a little longer to read this one than usual as I got districted playing games πŸ˜‚ Today’s book review is..

The Other Mrs by Mary Kubica

“She tried to run, but she can’t escape the other Mrs….

Sadie and Will Foust have only just moved their family from bustling Chicago to small-town Maine when their neighbor Morgan Baines is found dead in her home. The murder rocks their tiny coastal island, but no one is more shaken than Sadie.

But it’s not just Morgan’s death that has Sadie on edge. And as the eyes of suspicion turn toward the new family in town, Sadie is drawn deeper into the mystery of what really happened that dark and deadly night. But Sadie must be careful, for the more she discovers about Mrs. Baines, the more she begins to realize just how much she has to lose if the truth ever comes to light.”

I didn’t expect this to go the way it did, definitely a surprising twist! I can’t say too much without giving it away – but if you like thrillers with an unexpected twist, this is the one for you. This one is written from a few different characters perspectives. The book didn’t make sense to me for a while, but everything slowly slots into place.

I don’t have too much to say about this one if I’m honest. It wasn’t my favourite book/thriller, but it was decent enough! I just didn’t really fully get into this one. Not sure why!

It is worth reading 😊

The genre of this one is thriller, mystery, fiction, suspense & adult.

About the Author
Mary Kubica is a bestselling author of many novels. She attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. She currently lives just outside of Chicago with her husband and two children.

I rate this one a 7/10 😊

Happy reading!! πŸ“š
